About John

John Breeding, Ph.D., is a brilliant psychologist with a well-established private counseling practice in Austin, Texas. A significant part of John's work involves counseling parents and children.

John lectures and leads workshops for parents and educators on handling the challenge of a child who is labeled a "problem." Part of his mission is to assist adults in becoming more effective in their work with young people, and offer non-drug alternatives to aid young people having difficulties.

John Breeding also directs Texans For Safe Education; a citizens group dedicated to challenging the ever-increasing role of psychiatry, especially psychiatric drugs, in schools. He is also active in other challenges of psychiatric oppression to include electroshock, and the psychiatric drugging of elders in nursing homes.

Dr. Breeding maintains a website at www.wildestcolts.com.

Dr. Breeding obtained his doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas, and authors four books, including:

The Wildest Colts Make the Best Horses, Austin, Tx: Chipmunka Publishing, 2006.

The Necessity of Madness and Unproductivity: Psychiatric Oppression of Human Transformation, Chipmunka Publishing, 2002.

Nature and Great Understanding: How We Are For Our Children According to Our Understanding, Austin, Texas: Sunbelt Eakin Press, 2002.
